If the US joins the Israeli attack, hell will descend on the entire region. This is what Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh said in an interview with the BBC. He said, “This is not America’s war.”

“If US President Donald Trump gets involved in this war, he will forever be known in history as a president who stepped into a war that is not his war,” the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister said.
US involvement would turn the conflict into a complex trap, Saeed Khatibzadeh said. In this context, he said, it would continue the aggression. The end of the brutal torture would be further delayed.
Saeed Khatibzadeh made these comments after an Iranian missile attack damaged the Soroka Hospital in southern Israel.
Iranian state media reported that the target of the attack was a military installation next to the hospital. The hospital was not the target of the attack.
The Israeli Health Ministry said 71 people were injured in the Iranian attack on the Soroka Medical Center.
The Israeli military said it had struck Iranian nuclear facilities, including the “defunct” Arak heavy water reactor and the Natanz nuclear facility.
Tehran did not provide an update on the number of casualties in the Israeli attack.
The White House said on Thursday that President Trump would decide within the next two weeks whether the United States would directly intervene in the conflict.
In an interview with the BBC, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh stressed that diplomacy was Tehran’s first choice for resolving the crisis.
However, the Iranian deputy foreign minister also said, “We cannot start any talks as long as the bombing continues.”
